Frequently Asked Questions 1. Is the new version networkable? Yes, unlike previous versions of CoCUT and CoCUT Pro, CoCUT 12X3 Pro is networkable. If you have two or more dongles, you can share cutters across a network connection. 2. Will I be able to run more than one cutter at the same time? Yes, CoCUT 12 Pro's new Plot Manager will allow you to cut to multiple devices simultaneously. For instance, you can cut to a cutter on COM 1, print to a printer on your parallel port and cut to a second cutter on a USB connection all at the same time. 3. Will you continue to provide technical support for my old version? Digital Art Solutions provides free technical support provided you have the current version of CoCUT (CoCUT X3 or CoCUT X3 Pro) or one version back (CoCUT X3 or CoCUT X3 Pro). Owners of CoCUT 10 or CoCUT 10 Pro or lower must upgrade in order to receive continued technical support. 4. What programs is CoCUT X3 Pro compatible with? CoCUT X3 Pro is compatible with CorelDRAW 6-12, Illustrator 8-CS, Freehand 8-10 and AutoCAD Lt98, R14, 2000 Lt and 2000i. 5. How will my productivity improve with CoCUT X3 Pro? Tasks that were normally complicated such as prepping images for vinyl-cutting will be come automatic. You will no longer worry about designing for �vinyl-readiness� as CoCUT X3 Pro will automatically prep your files prior to cutting. You will dramatically reduce your prep time getting images ready to cut. 6. Will CoCUT X3 Pro work with my Smart Designer? Yes, CoCUT X3 Pro does not effect the operation of any version of Smart Designer. Smart Designer X3 users can access CoCUT Pro with either the CoCUT Skin or CoCUT toolbar icon. 7. What are the minimum system requirements for CoCUT X3 Pro? CoCUT X3 Pro has the same system requirements as the software you are designing in such as CorelDRAW or Illustrator. You do not need any additional system requirements other than what is required for your design software. |
