Water based ink and environmentally friendly chemicals are making a surge into the textile market. With the current need for "green" in today's world more of the clothing you see is printed with eco friendly products or on organic material. In recent years screen printers have moved away from water based inks into the plastisol inks due to production capabilities and easy of use. However, with these changing trends it's important to have the functionality to provide a eco "green" friendly product to the consumer base. Though the Ryonet Enviroline WB Inks are much more user friendly than the older style of water based ink, they still have production drawbacks when compared to plastisol ink. Water based inks need circulated airflow to cure, airflow helps drive the water out of the ink so the heat can then cure the pigment at 325 degrees. Most printers use IR dryers when printing which take over 2 minutes to cure a water based print. This drastically affects production and makes it hard for most printers to be profitable when printing with water based and discharge inks. The AutoSTART Enviro Water Based Package solves these production restraints. By combining an 6 color 8 station automatic press, a 4 color 4 station manual press, 16' Gas Dryer, a 18x22" airflow flash dryer, and a 31x40" single point exposure unit, your production capabilities will rival screen printers using standard equipment with plastisol inks.
Most screen printers start out with a small manual press which has the capability to print around 100-150 pieces per hour. Not only do these shops have to learn the process of artwork, creating film positives, exposing the screen, setting up the job, but they also have to learn how to manually operate a press efficiently with proper squeegee pressure and angles for different types of work and designs in order to reach those manual maximum production numbers. They also have to spend all day behind a press pulling a squeegee in order to produce the work or hire an employee to do it for them. An automatic press handles the printing parameters consistently for you and does all the hard production work efficiently and quickly with the capability of producing over 500 pieces per hour. Of course you still have to learn artwork, film output, and exposure, but once the press is setup, it works for you, it basically will print as fast as you can load it! This creates an incredible advantage for you! Lets say you get an an order for 2000 shirts. Manually this would take 4-8 hours to produce art, output film, and exposure screens, of course this will be about the same time for you. However, with a manual press, this would take 3-4 days to print (depending on how many colors). Automatically, you would be able to produce 2000 shirts easily in a 8 hour day. This opens the rest of your week up to go get more of those 2000 shirt orders while your competition is still stuck behind the press pulling the squeegee!
Print in production with any type of ink capability by using the Diamondback automatic press backed up by air flow conveyor and flash units. Plus to added to these automated capabilities, you'll also have the ability to produce full color short run items, customized apparel, specialty print placements, and allover prints with your 4 color 4 station Riley Hopkins manual press.
The AutoSTART Enviro Water Based Package is a complete starter package with all the everything you need to operate a successful printing and decoration business.
This Package Includes:
Diamondback 6 Color 8 Station (all pneumatic) Automatic Press.
Most owners of manual-press operations are constantly looking for ways to justify upgrading to an automatic press because of the tremendous benefits automation offers. Entry-level automatics can dramatically increase output, giving shops the ability to take on large and last-minute jobs. They also minimize labor costs and they largely eliminate the tedium and hard physical effort involved in hand-pulling squeegees. In shops where the owner does much of the printing, an automatic's high-speed production can free up time to work with existing clients—and seek out new ones.

M&R HEATWAVE R SERIES: (50 dz per hr +)
Great for high production, low cost energy consumption, Water Based, Discharge, and Plastisol Inks! The HeatWave is M&R’s most affordable gas textile dryer, bridging the gap between M&R’s infrared dryers and the Sprint line of high-performance gas dryers. With superior design and unrivaled quality, HeatWave offers exceptional performance in a compact gas dryer. HeatWave features M&R’s high-efficiency gas-dryer technology, 91 cm (36”) belt width, 259 cm (8’ 6”) heat chamber length, and a new control-panel that uses icons instead of text to control dryer operation. Not only does HeatWave have the highest production capacity in its class, it’s also the most energy efficient. Heavy-duty thermal insulation prevents heat from migrating into the workplace, while CoolSkin™ technology leaves the dryer skin cool to the touch. Fast cure rates and high product throughput maximize dryer capacity and minimize per-unit cost. Available in liquid propane (LP) or Natural Gas (NG), the high-performance burner is designed with excess capacity that exceeds consumption rates under normal operating conditions. Separate blowers control circulation and exhaust, and a high-volume forced air system quickly brings the chamber to the desired temperature, speeding the start of production. Process temperatures and set temperatures are controlled digitally. Temperature consistency is ensured by a fuzzy-logic controller, which responds to ambient temperature changes by keeping chamber heat within +/-1° of target temperature at the thermocouple.
When readings fall outside those settings, a temperature monitor issues an audible alarm. Entry and exit openings are adjustable, and crowned rollers ensure positive belt tracking. An automatic shutdown sequence keeps the blower and belt running until the chamber has cooled. Aggressively priced and impressively designed, HeatWave is a perfect choice for small to mid-size shops.
