Riley Hopkins Forced Air Flash Dryer

With the recent popularity trends for water base and discharge inks flashing and curing has become an issue for many screen printers around the country. Without proper hot airflow, flashing or curing a water base or discharge design can take two to three times as long as a plastisol print. To insure a quick and proper cure forced hot air is needed for these types of prints. Unfortunately until now, these flash dryers have typically cost upwards of $4000 and have been out of the prince range for many printers.

Introducing the first affordable forced air flash dryer the BBC Air Flash. A combined infrared and pass-through air heater provides hot flowing air onto the curing surface to quickly and efficiently cure water base or plastisol inks!

BBC 8' Forced Hot Air Conveyor Dryer

Curing water based and discharge ink can be difficult with a standard IR conveyor dryer. Water based inks need air movement to effectively drive the water out of the ink and move the steam outside the dryer so that the heat can cure the ink. Without proper air movement most customers either have to slow their belts way down or run the shirts through the dryer multiple times.
