This is Screen Printing heat transfer paper used with Plastisol inks, if you're looking for INKJET PRINTER transfer paper, please see the INKJET Transfer Paper Page.

What does the premium mean? Over the years, some of the plastisol formulas have been modified by the ink manufacturers because of environmental issues. Step 1 Papers chemist took these new formulas and created an easier release coating for their paper. Another good by product of this research is the reduction of overall chemical and manufacturing costs. Transal Premium will still be coated with the same dimensionally stable base that customers have demanded for their high speed equipment. Transal Premium is waterproof and works well with all water-based, plastisol, and puff inks. Transal Premium is a Hot PEEL 90% release paper.

Directions for use: Heat press at 330-350 degrees F, for about 8-10 seconds. MUST peel when hot.

When using transfer paper you need to us a transfer adhesion powder that is applied to the plastisol ink before the transfer is gel cured. The powder is inexpensive, easy to use, and goes a long way. You can order the transfer adhesion powder here.
