Technical Data:
To use all six cartridge of all black Blackmax ink in an Epson 1400/ 1430 user MUST use the AccuRip Software which controls all black printing and halftone printing, if you don't have AccuRip, see details here.

Printing without a RIP?
If you are not using AccuRip, the only Blackmax ink cartridge that you would be able to use would be SLOT 2 / COLOR BLACK. We recommend that you use the following print settings if you are not using AccuRip and running through the standard Epson 1400/ 1430 Color Driver.

Photo Setting: Best Quality Photo
Paper Setting: Premium Glossy Photo Paper
Film: For max black density users should use the R-Film Waterproof Positive Film exclusively from Ryonet.

Note: These cartridges are also compatible with the Epson 1430 printer.
