42x48" Aluminum AllOver Screens. Simple 1-3 color prints allover designs are extremely popular today. There are two ways to do this, you can use an all over pallet that is made from aluminum and allows the arms to extend into the shirt sleeves after the shirt is on the pallet. These pallets are expensive and typically designed for automatic presses. You can find them from M&R available through Ryonet. You can also get a large platen and set the shirt directly onto the platen and printing using an on contract method over two layers of the shirt. With this method you typically can only print one color and need to reduce your ink in order for it to be accepted easily into the garment. (this method seen below)
Which ever way you print, you'll need a large screen to accomplish it. These 42x48" Aluminum screens can handle a 36x42" image which is about the max size all over print size of a XXL t-shirt. Remember, if you are using a larger screen, you'll need a larger squeegee.
Shipping: Though the screens only weigh around 20 lbs, the dimension weight on them is 90 lbs, so don't be surprised to find higher shipping costs. Keep in mind this is a large custom size frame and should be cared for properly, cleaned, and stored in a safe spot to achieve a maximum lifespan. Remember, these screens are for custom high demand work, don't be afraid to charge your customers for it!
