PLEASE NOTE, the maximum pigment load to any base is 40% per volume. Adding too much of the color pigment concentrate to another ink can possibly lead to crocking, poor bleed resistance, and change to curing/fusing parameters. For pantone color matching.

In order to properly run a color matching system there are a few key tools you need to be sure you have. First you need a pantone book. The IC 7400 Color System matches off Coated Pantone colors, have a few books around is never a bad idea because it’s a great tool to help customers choose what color matches their needs. Remember, also show the customer the COATED Pantone Colors. If you don’t have a pantone color guide you can add on to this kit for only $85. 
The other thing that you must have is a gram scale, this ink is mixed by weight and both the computer software as well as the formulation guide give you mixing ratio’s and calculations in order to properly mix and match your ink. We recommend getting a scale that can calculate as low as a 1/10th of a gram for the highest accuracy. We carry scales that can mix up to a quart or up to a gallon depending on the maximum quantity you would like to mix to.
