including an 8 color 10 station Pneumatic Diamondback press, 16' Fusion dryer
capable of curing 60 Dozen shirts per hour, Red Chili Quartz Flash, and MSP3140
Nuarc Exposure Unit. The Gold package also comes with a 4880 17" Film Blackmax ALL BLACK output
system which will give you wider faster films for screen exposure. All M&R
AutoSTART packages include free installation on the press & as week of extended in house
training on screen printing from Ryonet. We’re not going to sell you equipment
and leave you hanging high and dry, we’ll set it up, show you how to use it, and
support it!
Most screen printers start out with a small manual press which has the
capability to print around 100-150 pieces per hour. Not only do these shops have
to learn the process of artwork, creating film positives, exposing the screen,
setting up the job, but they also have to learn how to manually operate a press
efficiently with proper squeegee pressure and angles for different types of work
and designs in order to reach those manual maximum production numbers. They also
have to spend all day behind a press pulling a squeegee in order to produce the
work or hire an employee to do it for them. An automatic press handles the
printing parameters consistently for you and does all the hard production work
efficiently and quickly with the capability of producing over 500 pieces per
hour. Of course you still have to learn artwork, film output, and exposure, but
once the press is setup, it works for you, it basically will print as fast as
you can load it! This creates an incredible advantage for you! Lets say you get
an an order for 2000 shirts. Manually this would take 4-8 hours to produce art,
output film, and exposure screens, of course this will be about the same time
for you. However, with a manual press, this would take 3-4 days to print
(depending on how many colors). Automatically, you would be able to produce 2000
shirts easily in a 8 hour day. This opens the rest of your week up to go get
more of those 2000 shirt orders while your competition is still stuck behind the
press pulling the squeegee!
Automating advantages.
Increased Production Times
Low Employee Overhead
Less Physical Fatigue
Consistent Performance
Quality Reliability
Flexibility (produce more in less time)

Check out the advantages to
automation!
This Package Includes:
Diamondback 8 Color 10 Station (all pneumatic) Automatic Press.

Most owners of manual-press operations are constantly looking for ways to
justify upgrading to an automatic press because of the tremendous benefits
automation offers. Entry-level automatics can dramatically increase output,
giving shops the ability to take on large and last-minute jobs. They also
minimize labor costs and they largely eliminate the tedium and hard physical
effort involved in hand-pulling squeegees. In shops where the owner does much of
the printing, an automatic's high-speed production can free up time to work with
existing clients—and seek out new ones.
Unfortunately, those benefits often lost out to the cost factor—until now. By
relying on simplicity of design, strong standard-feature sets, highly-efficient
manufacturing processes, and volume production, M&R’s Diamondback has broken the
price barrier between you and your first automatic. The pneumatically-driven
Diamondback is available in 6 and 8-color models, with a maximum image area of
41 x 46 cm (16” x 18”) and a maximum pallet size of 46 x 56 cm (18” x 22”).
Diamondbacks can be ordered with an additional print head over the unload
station, turning the 6-color into a 7-color and the 8-color into a 9-color. The
press can also be optionally configured to allow the additional print head to be
added in the field.
Diamondbacks are available in base and enhanced configurations. Both models
feature pneumatically-driven print carriages, swiveling control panel arm with
touch-screen display, micro-registration, calibrated squeegee pressure
adjustment, standard M&R three-point pallet leveling bracket with quick release,
rear stroke length adjustment, new composite 41 x 56 cm (16” x 22”) pallets, and
M&R’s patented Revolver Print Program. Enhanced Diamondbacks add pneumatic frame
locks, pneumatic squeegee/flood bar locks, and pneumatic squeegee pressure
regulators. This package includes as we strongly recommend the "B" packaged
press w/ ALL Pneumatic Options. Pneumatics increase setup time efficiency by
four to five times. It's literally the difference of hand tightening down knobs
for 15-20 minutes OR flipping a switch and the job is done! In fact, over 99% of
ALL M&R diamond backs sold are purchased with "B" Package Pneumatic Options!
Includes: * Diamondback 8 Station/ 6 Color Factory Pre-Wire for Additional
9th Print Head at a later date.

RED CHILI QUARTZ FLASH (upgrade options)

The freestanding Red Chili uses sealed tungsten filament quartz lamps, and
works with both automatic and manual presses. Instant-on lamp technology
conserves energy by reverting to standby when the press is idle, and its lamps
are divided into three zones, which can be operated independently or in any
combination. Its adjustable optical sensor switch can be positioned on either
side of the flash, allowing the Red Chili to match the rotation direction of the
press. The sensor doesn’t require a signal from the press, making it easy to
move the unit between print heads or presses without time-consuming setup. The
sensor also makes the Red Chili ideal for manual press flashing. The curing
module is mounted on top of a height-adjustable floor stand. The stand’s hand
crank makes height adjustments easy. The curing module is powder coated, and the
stand is coated in chip-resistant black oxide. M&R’s Red Chili seamlessly
bridges the gap between automatic-only and manual-only quartz flash cure
systems.

MSP 3140 Exposure Unit
(by Nuarc)
MSP 3140 features NuArc’s patented instant-start power technology, which
reduces glass temperature, power consumption, and environmental heating effects.
With a 79 x 102 cm (31" x 40") maximum screen frame size, it’s an ideal choice
for those entering automatic printing and for quality-conscious printers in
manual environments. MSP 3140 is designed for those seeking superior performance
at an affordable price. NuArc’s computerized and programmable
integrator/controller ensures precise vacuum duration and lamp output
compensation. MSP 3140 is also simple to operate. The entire exposure
process—from vacuum drawdown through screen exposure and vacuum release—is
accomplished with a single keystroke.
NuArc’s unique manifold system ensures intimate contact by drawing vacuum evenly
around the perimeter of the blanket frame. A 1200-watt multi-spectrum
metal-halide lamp, with its ability to retain fine lines and dots, produces
exposures of exceptional quality. MSP 3140 can be located in areas housing
unexposed screens because the light source and vacuum frame are enclosed, and

RIP Package (17" Wide Roll Format)

The Rip Combo 4880 Includes:
Epson 4880 Printer - 17" Wide Prints, 2880 x 1440 dpi resolution
AccuRIP™ - Software, Crisp Halftones, Perfect Registration
R-Film™ - 17"x100' Roll - Optimum density, Fast Dry Time, Waterproof
(Required)
All BLACK BLACKMAX Cartridge Set- Quick Drying, Scratch Resistant, Blocks UV Rays
RIP Combos are used to make Film Positives. Using a stock inkjet printer will
not print dark enough ink on the film allowing light to shine through the image
and will result in loss of detail and/or an exposed image. The RIP Combo uses
RIP software that tells the printer to lay down more ink with crisp edges. The
Combination of an Epson Printer, RIP Software, Fast Ink, and Waterproof film
results in a super opaque image with crisp edges and also gives you half tone
capabilities. Every part of the RIP Combo serves a purpose.
M&R Patented TRI-LOC Registration System
Tri-Loc Registration
(included):
No other registration system offers the ease of use and accuracy of M&R’s
patented Tri-Loc and Double Tri-Loc, M&R’s revolutionary Rapid Registration
Systems. And Tri-Locs are key components in System Integration™. By designing
products that work together seamlessly—products like Tri-Loc & Double Tri-Loc,
NuArc’s Tri-Light exposure units, Chameleon® and Sidewinder™ Manual Presses, and
all M&R textile automatic presses—M&R equipment provides faster setup, improved
quality, increased productivity, and enhanced profitability.
Tri-Locs are compatible with all M&R textile presses, and can be used with wood
frames, aluminum static frames, and roller frames. Tri-Locs are affordably
priced, extremely cost effective, and have no moving critical registration
points to wear out. Tri-Locs employ precision-milled stop points to ensure that
the operator can precisely match the registration on the exposure unit with the
registration on the press. Double Tri-Loc is M&R’s twin-screen version. Screens
properly exposed on one side of the Double Tri-Loc will be in sync with screens
exposed on the other side, dramatically reducing the time devoted to exposing
screens. And by combining NuArc’s Tri-Light™ Exposure System with the Double
Tri-Loc, operators can burn two same-size screens at once.
Master registration frames, available in numerous adjustable and fixed sizes,
fit most popular screen frame sizes. Custom sizes, individual Tri-Loc
components, and complete Tri-Loc & Double Tri-Loc startup kits are also
available. Cost-effective and easy to use, Tri-Locs can reduce setup time by as
much as 95 percent. Unprecedented simplicity and unsurpassed accuracy make
Tri-Loc and Double Tri-Loc the ideal choice for those who refuse to compromise
on quality—and don’t have time to waste (U.S. Patent No. 5,953,987).
KDXL Back Lit Washout Sink
