Some ink-supply companies sell third-party offshore Artistri® Ink knock-offs, or they sell DuPont™ Artistri® white ink, but slip in non-Artistri® colored ink. With DuPont Artistri® Inks, you know what you’re getting, and the small savings to be found in knock-off inks can quickly disappear if they lead to poor-quality prints or, worse yet,
print head clogging. Repeated cleaning of printheads can be costly, both in terms of ink and of time, and a permanently-clogged printhead can be disastrous.
Don’t be fooled by cheap imitations. If you operate an M&R i-Dot Epson®-based digital textile printer, insist on genuine DuPont™ Artistri Ink. As with most products, you get what you pay for, so don’t settle for no-name offshore brands unless you’re looking for no-name performance and results.
