RyoCap is intended for printing on t-shirts and graphic applications. Extremely fast exposure times make RyoCap suited for use with most light sources from low to higher end sources. RyoCap pre-sensitized, pink colored films are available in 30 micron thickness.

RyoCap Film is a precisely coated, capillary film version of Ryonets best-selling DCM direct emulsion. Like QTX or CCX, RyoCap Film utilizes pure photopolymer technology to assure extended shelf life and minimal influences from heat and humidity, with the fastest possible exposure speed, good imaging properties, and on-press durability.

Generally, RyoCap Film is adhered to fabric with water or for a stronger stencil using the direct/indirect application with QTX or CCX emulsion. RyoCap can be laminated to produce unlimited stencil thickness variations. The use of RyoCap Film offers significant savings in labor and production time over the use of direct emulsion to produce stencils of similar thicknesses.

Product Benefits:
• Consistent stencil thickness -Control of ink deposit—and ink costs • Fast exposure and processing -Significantly less labor and production time
• High contrast/transparent pink color -Easy inspection and registration

The great thing about using Cap film in rolls is that you only need to use as much as you need, unlike the 15x15" sheets that cap film typically comes in, you can use 6" or 18" if you need!

Application Instructions for RyoCAP Capillary Film
Large and small screens:

1. Cut the film to size and place the film on a dry, flat surface. Roll the film, emulsion side out, around a plastic tube leaving approximately 1" unrolled.
2. Spray the mesh lightly with water and wipe the excess water from the outside of the frame to avoid water drops running into the adhered film.
3. Contact the rolled film leading edge onto the top of the wet vertical screen and unroll the film down the screen, thus adhering it to the mesh. Flip the screen over laying it on a piece of old newsprint.
4. Adhere the film while removing excess moisture from the inside of the screen with a light weight window squeegee. Wipe excess water from the perimeter of the frame with an absorbent cloth then proceed to drying.
5. Peel off the plastic carrier sheet when it's dry and allow the capillary film to stabilize for 5 to 10 minutes. This will keep the positive from peeling off on the film since the surface under the plastic carrier sheet is still moist.
6. After exposure wash the screen gently as you normally would with a garden hose, avoid using a pressure washer unless it's absolutely nessesary. Only use high pressure from the shirt side of the film.

Small screens only:
1. Place the film, emulsion side up, on a raised pad and lay the dry degreased screen on top.
2. Using a hand spray water bottle, spray water onto the mesh until the film is completely wet.
3. Squeegee off the excess water from the inside of the screen. Wipe water from the perimeter of the frame, then proceed to drying.
4. Peel off the plastic carrier sheet when it's dry and allow the capillary film to stabilize for 5 to 10 minutes. This keeps the positive from peeling off on the film since the surface under the plastic carrier sheet is still semi-moist.
5. Wash gently as you normally would with a garden hose, avoid using a pressure washer unless it's absolutely nessesary. Only use high pressure from the shirt side of the film.
Additional Tips:
To ensure a stronger, thicker stencil you can coat the inside of the screen using QTX or CCX photo polymer emulsion AFTER the screen is dried and the carrier sheet has been removed. This will give the screen a deeper ink well, great for high density and puff inks where edge resolution and thicker ink deposit are desired.
Remember that the additional coating will add an average of 30 to 45 seconds on your exposure times. To ensure a long lasting screen it's recommended that after pin-holing and coating the outside of the screen perimeter when it's dried, expose again or leave the screen outside in the sun for a few moments to harden.
