The STF Tension Meter is an entry level, mechanical tension meter that is optimum for any shop that is interested in monitoring the consistency of the screens in production. With a large, easy to read dial and simple functions, the STF Tension Meter is a tool that can be used anywhere in the shop—from screen inventory, to stretching, to on-press applications. The STF Tension Meter is stored in a rigid plastic case with protective foam. A “zeroing” plate (made of glass) is provided with each STF Tension Meter to insure an accurate tension reading from screen to screen. Its simple design allows the end user to adjust/zero the tension meter with the adjustable dial whenever necessary (there is no quality lab currently available to calibrate this meter to a national standard).
