SINGLE PRINTER USE PER CART
Please advise that once a cart has been used in a specific printer, it should never be inserted into a second printer.The printer resets the counter on the chip, which can result in a false positive read on ink level on an empty cart. Use of chip resetters will exacerbate this issue. Resetting the chip will cause production issues.
Recommended Remedy: We advise customers to use each cartridge ONLY in the printer into which it was originally inserted.

NO INCREMENTAL INK USAGE METER
The LCD indicator will no longer provide a real-time indication of ink levels. The Epson will send a message that ink is running low, but will not indicate which cartridge. When a cartridge is actually out of ink, the user may then raise and lower the ink lever to identify which cart needs to be replaced.
Recommended Remedy: We recommend that you gauge the number of prints you are running through the printer. Order an extra set of inks before you need it so you have some on hand in case you run out. If you have a gram scale, you can weigh the cargridge when it comes in full, and weight it when it is empty and gauge how full they are that way. Sawgrass is working on updates to the cartridges to fix this problem.

WARRANTY MESSAGE
Epson has a built-in warning message that advises customer that they may be at risk of voiding their warranty by using non-OEM ink cartridges. [This message has always been a fixture in Epson printed documentation, yet we have never known them to fail to honor their warranties for performance issues that are not directly related to the ink delivery system.]
Recommended Remedy: Sawgrass fully guarantees our digital transfer inks against performance issues or defects. As a Certified Epson Service Center, they fully support any printer being used with Sawgrass digital transfer inks during the Epson warranty period.
