  Print Queue & Job Controls

  Printer Jockey provides the user with more control of the key utility function of the print queues and jobs in an easy-to-use interface window.  The user will be able to see queue status (i.e. Ready, Pause, Offline,…), # of jobs in a queue, ports associated with all queues and more.  Printer Jockey also provides the user easy access to print jobs features (i.e. Pause / Resume Jobs, Delete / Delete All Jobs and more).

  Test Print Scheduler

  In order to keep the ink delivery system flowing properly, the user will need to periodically run the printer.  The Test Print Scheduler allows the user to create a schedule where the printer will automatically print a test print that uses all the channels of ink.  The user controls when the test print occurs, which test print to use, which channels to print and more. This feature will help prevent the nozzles and lines of the printer from clogging up when the printer is not going to be used (i.e. over the weekend, vacation breaks,…).

  Channel Flush Feature

  From time to time, either ink lines or some of the nozzles in the print head of an Epson printer will become clogged.  Traditionally, the user would run a head clean that moves the print head over the maintenance station forces ink from all the ink channels through the head in an effort to clear any clogs.  However, this cleaning process will waste ink in the channels that are working properly and the user does not have control over the amount ink that is used.  Printer Jockey’s Channel Flush feature allows the user to control which channels will have ink printed solely from to perform a similar cleaning function to remove the clog.
