The sign industry is massive with thousands of businesses look towards the sky
(or the side of the road) to advertise each month. This kit is ideal for
printing on corrugated plastic 18x24 signs. The heavy duty aluminum press
provides accurate and sharp printing. Combined with an 20x26" sign platen this
is a great press to get started printing signs.

What else will you need outside of this kit?
- A way to expose the screen. If you don't already have any
exposure unit you'll need a way to expose the 23x31" screen.
- * You can upgrade and get the automated exposure unit
listed above (exposes screens in around 5 minutes).
- * You can create your own exposure unit using 500
watt halogen lights situated about 20 inches above the frame surface
(exposes the screen around 15 minutes)
- * You can expose the screen in the sun. (not recommend
as we can not estimate times)
- * You can use something else to make your screen
such as vinyl or
Ulano Green Film cut with a vinyl plotter (if you have one) without
having to expose it.
- A way to print your films. This kit does not include film or a film
printer to create positive films for your screen exposure. What are your
options?
- * Check out our film and output printers page to
purchase a complete
film
output system.
- * Purchase
water proof film (for optimal darkness in your transparency) and use
your standard inkjet printer to create films, if you need bigger than your
printer can print, you can splice films together to create larger
images.
- * You can use something else to make your screen
such as vinyl or
Ulano Green Film cut with a vinyl plotter (if you have one) without
having to expose it.

Start screen printing even faster now with our pre-coated screen upgrade. For just $8 per screen Ryonet will professional coat your screens for you with CCI emulsion. The coated screens are exposure ready and sent in a light safe heat sealed bag to insure the screens will be completely unexposed before you go to expose them. If youre looking for an extra jump start for you screen printing venture this is a great way to go. Take your screens out of the bag and expose them immediately so you can start printing a few minutes later.
Choose between user friendly dual cure DXP (Pink) Textile Emulsion (for plastisol ink) or DCM (Blue) Graphic Emulsion (for Inktech Solvent Ink). Screens come with additional notes for optimal exposure.
Note: Screens come ready to expose and must be opened in a 100% light safe environment. Screens must be exposed with quality films that have an opaque black image for best results.
